Well, it's actually about some college students who take on the local legend of the Unnamable in a house nearby campus. They happen on the house and one by one get picked off by a creature that is up to no good. Will Randolph Carter solve the mystery in time to save his fellow friends? For some strange reason we decided to take on the rest of the SOMETIMES THEY COME BACK franchise. Someone had to do it! They HAD to COME back… Right? We are the hero's to take on the quest and come out the other end with some jokes & some trivia that would make any horror fan happy. First Christina tells you about her viral moment online which is a fun story. Then we dive into our review of SOMETIMES THEY COME BACK AGAIN (1996) about a whole new set of Greaser Demons (well sorta) who COME BACK ... Again... For revenge! Only this time much more gory and fun. Then we take on SOMETIMES THEY COME BACK FOR MORE (1998) where it takes the story to Antarctica? Yeah... Then we talk about Anything for Jackson (2020) which is made by a couple of guys high on Christmas Films who decided to put a horror movie out about an old couple who use a ritual to bring their dead grandson back. Oh Boy! It's Faux Horror Doc Time. The historical kind too! Yep. Our friend Plemke donated some movies to put Christina through hell. No.. but maybe.. This week we watched and review The Last Broadcast (1998) the movie that actually beat The Blair Witch Project to the faux doc punch. About of a group of cable access guys researching LIVE the legend of The Jersey Devil but only one of them comes back alive. What happened to the others? We find out and talk about the movies historical value too. Then we take on a movie that had some troubles getting released. The Poughkeepsie Tapes (2007). Another faux documentary very much in the same vein as The Last Broadcast about thousands of torture tapes they find belonging to one of the most prolific serial killers of all time in the 90's. The end of this one may piss you off or just surprise you. We talk about both of these movies this week and why Christina is none too happy about it. JOIN US!
We return from our 4th of July Break with a couple of 70s films the will Bug the crap out of you and make you Squirm. That's right the 70's was a time when the US was actually worried about the earth exacting it's revenge on us by subjecting us to killer nature. So this week we review BUG (1975) about an earthquake that unleashes a new breed of bug that starts fires and feeds on us. Then we review SQUIRM (1976) Where a storm knocks down a power grid and electrifies the ground so bad that blood worms become ravenous flesh eating terrors. Both these movies are PG too and they got away with a lot back then. We break them down and give you loads of fun trivia about the movies. JOIN US!
It's VALENTINES DAY! So we picked a couple heart felt horror movies for the season for our 269th episode! We take on X-ray (1981) About a killer surgeon that runs around a hospital killing people in bloody ridiculous ways. Then review the LoVe story Warm Bodies (1981) about a boy zombie falling in love with a living girl. Bleeeeeechhhh. That's Christina holding back her vomit. She also spends half the episode with hiccups. So, you all should be super excited. Plus, this episode is filled to the brim with a lot of horror love. JOIN US!
We had our fill of new movies this past week so we figured lets dive into some practically homemade films in the 80s! As you know Alex loves going back here often. This week we watch and review The Strangeness (1985) about a creature in a cave that eats people. When will people learn to leave caves and tentacles beasts in them alone?! Then we dive into THERES NOTHING OUT THERE! (1991) about a group of kids who visits a cabin in the summer and people start dying one by one to another creature? Maybe if they listened to their knowledgeable horror fan they brought. He seems to know what to do and not do in this situation. We are back for that crazy Siamese twin sibling rivalry gang of Duane and his brother Belial! That's right it's time to finish off Frank Henenlotters BASKET CASE Franchise w/ two new reviews! Starting with BASKET CASE 2 (1990) where Duane/Belial meet a new family of freaks. Everything seems normal for Belial but not so much Duane. Then we review BASKET CASE 3: The Progeny (1991) where Belial becomes a father on the road to Georgia where the freak gang stir up more trouble. It's a whacky franchise and we got loads of trivia and fun to talk about.
Thanksgiving Special? Well, pull up a chair and dine with us as we review two films that will blow your mind. First up we talk about BLOOD RAGE (1987) which is about a pair of twins one of them is accused of murder and 10 years later when one escapes the killing spree begins. Then we review POULTRYGEIST: Night of the Chicken Dead (2006). Zombified chickens attempt to kill the fast-food workers that cook them in a restaurant built on an ancient burial ground. Both are great and both will give you plenty to FEAST on this holiday.
Time to shake things up. Two Different films from the Vestron Video collection. This week we review David Cronenbergs SHIVERS (1975) about a parasite that runs rampant on a luxurious apartment complex and turns people into sex crazed deviants. Then (oddly mind you) we reviewed a childhood nostalgia favorite LITTLE MONSTERS (1989) where Fred Savage befriends a monster under his bed and has to save his brother from their underworld. It's definitely an odd mix week, but we hope it gives you some picks to check out!
This week VOIDTOBER ENDS! *Scream* We pick our winner for our giveaway contest. Plus, a few reviews of some ladies with... Mind Powers.... That's right seems like our favorite thing. We kick it off with Stephen Kings First book and film CARRIE (1976) where a not so popular girl get's picked on too much and turns into a mind killer at prom. Directed by Brian DePalma. Then we jump into a review of Phenomena (1985) a Dario Argento film about a girl who can speak to insects who bumps into a serial killers path. It's all here for the season! This week for VOIDTOBER we take on the BEYOND the DOOR Trilogy! Alex get's pretty wild in this one while Christina tries to reel him in. 3 Italian Horror movies that are SBIG. Starting with Beyond The Door (1974) for a silly head spinning tale of a woman who suddenly become possessed while pregnant. It is considered to be the Italian Exorcist rip off. Then w/ SHOCK (1977) the sequel that isn't connected. About a boy who gets possessed by his father who died and haunts his mommy with weird results. Then onto the AMOK TRAIN (1989) aka Beyond The Door 3 about a killer possessed train that kills people. All three are pretty much insane.
This week for VOIDTOBER we dive into a few houses that you probably should go into. Starting with a review of THE HOUSE OF THE DEVIL (2009) where a babysitter gets the job of a lifetime from a stranger offering 400 dollars for one night. Turns out she probably shouldn't have. Then we continue with a review of WE ARE STILL HERE (2015) about a couple who is grieving the loss of their son. They decide to try and reset by moving into a new town and an old house. A house that just so happens to feed on souls every 30 years. Oops. It's all here in our 2nd week of VOIDTOBER!

This week we are reviewing WITCHBOARD (1986) When a woman gets addicted to the Quija Net she thinks she meets a sweet 8 yr old boy who died but is a man who kills everyone who tries to help her. Then we review NIGHT OF THE DEMONS (1988) about Ten teenagers that party at an abandoned funeral parlor on Halloween night after a séance they unleash the demonic spirits to spice up the party.
