Found footage horror movies. There are a ton of them these days and frankly people seem to either love them or hate them. Personally, I rather enjoy a good found footage movie. But that's the problem because so many are very, very bad. And yet here I am, watching every one I can get my hands on. So I figure I can do a public service and make a quick list of some obscure ones that I found particularly great. Of course this is all subject to personal opinion, but maybe you will find something here you love.

Ah, the fear of eyeball trauma, honestly it's a pretty common fear, or aversion. I love seeing eyeball stuff in horror because it's just one of those areas of the body you don't want disturbed. So this article is mainly for people like me, getting a bunch of great eyeball scenes at once, but also for the opposite. Step inside, conquer your fears, and let's see some eyeballs getting destroyed in no particular order.

Everyone has to start somewhere, right? Horror may be the red headed stepchild of the cinema world but that doesn't stop it from being one of the most filmed and profitable genres either. What sacrilege is this? Yeah, it actually happens. While the vast majority of remakes are rubbish, there are a good amount that are decent, but then there are those that actually exceed the original. A true rarity indeed.

Blaxploitation cinema is an often overlooked but integral slice of American filmmaking that emerged in the 1970s. Starting with Sweet Sweetback's Baadasssss Song, it ushered in a new era of filmmaking that exposed the general public to another culture. Despite backlash behind portraying stereotypical criminal roles, the movement was also praised for finally introducing black characters as heroes. While blaxploitation cinema was primarily action and drama oriented, there was also a small uprising of blaxploitation horror films, and today we're looking at eight of the best and most influential films of the 1970s.
