Paramount and Michael Bay Are Bringing You a Podcast Horror Movie
From the minds of filmmakers David-Jan Bronsgeest and Tim Koomen, who will help develop the short for the big screen, Meet Jimmy revolves around “a mysterious podcast that once listened to, has horrific consequences.” A Meet Jimmy IMDB page says, “What if the podcast you’re listening to can hear you too? Jennifer is enjoying the confessions of a killer when he suddenly starts talking to her.” Which, admittedly, is worse than getting hit by a bus, which is for sure going to happen to you if you don’t take those earbuds out once in a while.

Initially it appeared it was going to be a routine resection with no further treatment outside of surgery needed.

Dakota Johnson was 'terrified' to shoot Suspiria dance sequence
The most impressive dance scene in this remake of director Dario Argento’s classic 1977 terror tale is a public performance of the routine “Volk” — German for “people.” Inspired by the pre-WWII avant-garde expressionist dance movement, the sequence was dreamed up by the film’s choreographer, Damien Jalet, and is soundtracked by an instrumental from the film’s composer, Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke. The choreography is also part of the witches’ grand design.

Horror At The Box-Office
This week, we had gotten a few new horror movies making their way into theaters with “The Meg” and “Slenderman”.
“Slenderman” which was having issues at Sony when it was due for release, finally found its way to the silver screen bringing in just over $11 million on a $10 million dollar budget. Considering the untold costs of advertisement being added onto that number, “Slenderman” is currently looking like a bomb. However, this is only the first week of it being in theaters and has a fair amount of time to pick up the additional funds in order to make this thing much more successful.
In bigger news, “The Meg” has easily taken over the top spot over the weekend, raking in $45 million domestically as well with an additional $101 million from foreign purchases. The film was made for a reported $130 million, so the film had likely made its money back and will be able to make positive gains from here on out.
